Brian Adair FRICS, Chartered Surveyor , formerly Senior Partner of Rydens,one of Scotland's largest privately owned commercial surveying firms.  On retiral ini 1989, he formed Ryden Lettings, now one of Edinburgh's largest residential letting agents.  He has been a member of the National Council of The Association of Residential Letting Agents for over 14 years and Chairman of the Scottish Branch.  He serves on various Scottish Government Committees involved in matters affecting the Private Rented Sector.  He was Managing Director of Ryden Lettings until 2007 when he assumed the role of Executive Chairman.
